Schedule for Winter 2012- Advanced levels

Please note that you must be an Alliance Française member in order to register for a course (except for French for Travelers).

Language classes at the Alliance Française cover three levels: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced. The Advanced level is divided into five steps (301 to 305), which are taught for one session (usually once a week for 11 or 12 weeks, a total of 24 hours of contact with the teacher). It takes 15 months to cover the level completely and to finish the study of Connexions 3.

At the end of 305, you will use complex sentences and understand authentic documents. You will be able to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

Additionally, conversation and cultural classes are offered for advanced students. The focus is on oral communication, without the use of a textbook.
