Language classes at the Alliance Française cover 3 levels: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced. The Beginner level is divided into four steps (101 to 104), which are taught for one session (usually once a week for 11 or 12 weeks, and a total of 24 hours of contact with the teacher). It takes one year and approximately 100 hours of classes to cover the complete level and to finish the study of the textbook.
At the end of 104, you will be able to hold simple conversations, to exchange information about yourself and others, and to talk about things that took place in the past.
Additionally, the Alliance Française offers a French for Travelers Workshop for those traveling to a French-speaking country and who are looking for a little knowledge of the language.
