After-School French

The Alliance Française de Denver offers after-school programs for elementary through high school children and teens. Several schools in the Denver area participate in this program. Children who learn foreign languages at a young age have a considerable advantage in their future education and careers. Through the Alliance Française, children learn French taught by a highly qualified and native French-speaking Alliance Française instructor. The classes use a variety of activities to immerse the children in the French language through art, songs, theater, role-playing, etc.

In order to begin an after-school program to take place at your school, the Alliance Française requires a minimum of 6 students per group. Classes can be arranged for any day or time.

Please contact the Alliance Française at 303-831-0304 if you would like to begin an after-school program at your school.

Teens - Un Eté Français-

French Boot Camp at the Alliance Française de Denver

Exercise your French language skills this summer! The Alliance Française de Denver offers French language immersion programs with creative and enriching activities for teens ages 12 to 17. Groups will be formed according to age (Collégiens 12-14 and Lycéens 15-17) and level of French.

The program runs for 1 week, from June 16-20, Monday through Friday from 9am to 4 pm each day.

Teens will dive into the French language, coached by friendly and experienced native French-speaking guides. The morning drill session will focus on grammar points, reading and listening practice, and pronunciation training, with plenty of time for conversation. In the afternoon, enjoy the payoff of all that effort by engaging in workshop activities such as plays, movies, science experiments, arts and crafts, and cooking, all in French.

*Please note that a minimum of 5 students is needed to open each camp.
