Language classes at the Alliance Française cover 3 levels: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced. The Intermediate level is divided into four steps (201 to 204), which are taught for one session (usually once a week for 11 or 12 weeks, a total of 24 hours of contact with the teacher). It takes one year and approximately 100 hours of classes to cover the level completely and to finish the study of the textbook Connexions 2.

At the end of 204, you will be comfortable communicating in French on familiar matters and you will be able to express yourself efficiently whilst traveling in a French-speaking country.

Additionally, conversation and cultural classes are offered for intermediate students. The focus is on oral communication, without the use of a textbook.
