Ciné Club

Come be part of the Ciné-Club - for French and film lovers alike. Every third Wednesday of the month for just $9 you can enjoy a French film, a French reception with wine and hors-d'oeuvres afterward, as well as the opportunity to speak French.
This month, the ciné-club presents Les Lutins du court métrage, a selection of the best French short films of 2008.The film will be shown in French with English subtitles. Organized in collaboration with the Délégation Générale de l’Alliance Française USA.

About the film -- For more than ten years, the Lutins du Court-métrage (Leprechauns of the short film) have been working to promote and disseminate short films to a wider audience. More than 2,000 professionals from the cinema vote each year following a format inspired by the Césars (the French Academy Awards) to determine the best short films of the year, thereby bestowing upon them a mark of excellence.
