The sights, smells and tastes of France make their way to the Denver Botanical Gardens the evening of Saturday, July 12, 2008 when the Alliance Francaise de Denver celebrates its 7th annual French Summer Soiree.
From 5 to 9:30 pm, the Monet Garden will go one step beyond the artist’s famous “jardin” in Giverny, as guests enjoy a veritable cornucopia of samplings from six of the best French restaurants in Denver, along with wines from the region’s best-known distributors and music that harkens back to that last trip to Paris, or the one you‘d like to take.
Guests will stroll past mimes, stilt walkers, live statues… even a ballet dancers, a fortune teller and a caricaturist… or take a private tour of the garden… and complete the evening by bidding on an eclectic collection of items a silent auction.
