This course is designed for students who have completed French B1.1 (301) or who have studied French for a minimum of 200 hours. After
having successfully completed French B1.1, you will be able to express goals and desires, talk about the weather, defend your opinion, and
start using the subjunctive! Diverse topics of conversation and culture revolving around day-to-day life and France and the
Francophone world will be discussed.
REQUIRED TEXTBOOKS: Cosmopolite 3 (textbook and workbook), which will be used in B1.3 and B1.4 as well. In this course, Units
3 and 4 in Cosmopolite 3 will be covered.
MEMBERSHIP: As a membership based non-profit organization, we require that all students be members of Alliance Française de Denver. Our
memberships are valid for one year.
NEW STUDENTS: If you have taken French before, we suggest you take our free placement test to ensure you are starting at the right level.

This course is designed for students who have completed French B1.2 (302) or who have studied French for a minimum of 300 hours. After having successfully completed French B1.3, you will be able to express goals and desires, complain about the weather, make a structured presentation, talk about travelling, and use the subjunctive! Diverse topics of conversation about French and Francophone societies and cultures will be covered.
REQUIRED TEXTBOOKS: Cosmopolite 3 (textbook and workbook), which will be used in B1.4 as well. In B1.3, Units 5 and 6 in the Cosmopolite
3
will be covered.
MEMBERSHIP: As a membership based non-profit organization, we require that all students be members of Alliance Française de Denver. Our

This course is designed for students who have completed French A2.4 (204) or who have studied French for a minimum of 200 hours. After
having successfully completed French B1.1 (301), you will be able to express goals and desires, talk about the weather, defend your opinion,
and examine board games! Topics of conversation revolving around day-to-day life will be discussed. This course will cover aspects of
France and Francophone cultures.
REQUIRED TEXTBOOKS: Cosmopolite 3 (textbook and workbook), which will be used in each class of the B1 level
(B1.1, B1.2, B1.3, and B1.4). In B1.1, Dossiers 1 and 2 will be covered.

having successfully completed French B1.4, you will be able to express goals and desires, complain about the weather, make a structured
presentation, talk about travelling, and use the subjunctive! Diverse topics of conversation about French and Francophone societies
and cultures will be covered.
REQUIRED TEXTBOOKS: Saison 3 (textbook and workbook). This course will cover Units 8 and 9 in Saison 3 .
