This class is designed for the 11-14 year-olds who have completed the Chevaliers A.2.1.1 or who have taken 80 hours of French. In Chevaliers A2.1.2, students will develop conversational, pronunciation, grammar and writing skills. They will expand their cultural knowledge while reading the comic strip version of Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables. Upon completing Chevaliers A2.1.2, students will be able to talk about their family, their friends, their school schedule, their hobbies as well as Victor Hugo’s life. They will be able to describe people, objects, cities, stores, etc. They will be able to conjugate -er verbs and some irregular verbs in different verb tenses. They will be able to write a brief message or postcard.
REQUIRED TEXTBOOKS: Amis et compagnie 2 (Livre and Cahier d'activites). This class will cover the Unité 2. These books
can be purchased online.
