First Friday With Jacqueline Berkman
Come by the AFD Gallery on your First Friday Art Walk. As part of the Art District on Santa Fe the Alliance Française de Denver takes part in First Friday to showcase our rotating guest artists' exhibits.
The Alliance Française de Denver presents "Artistique Conversations" by Jacqueline Berkman beginning January 4th, 2019 through February 28th, 2019. Join us on your First Friday Art Walk from 6-8pm to view Berkman's eclectic collection of paintings.
Jacqueline Berkman-Glatigny was born into a large artistic family where most of its members are involved with some creative talent. The family philosophy is, "to work with your head is not enough, you must be able to work and create with your hands". Since her childhood she has always been in or part of a creative process, drawing, painting, woodworking, sculpture, assemblage, making jewelry and sewing. Born in France, she taught in Belgium, Switzerland and later in the US. Jacqueline currently resides in Colorado where she continues to give free rein to her creativity.
