Apéro Baskets for Fête de la Musique

We want to keep our tradition of hosting La Fête de la Musique in Denver. COVID-19 cannot stop us from enjoying an evening of French music with a little glass of Ricard or rosé, a slice of saucisson or some smelly cheese on a piece of REAL French baguette! Yes, we are making FRENCH APERO BASKETS for you to enjoy during our FREE live concert series on ZOOM. They are available for purchase for pick-up at AFD, 571 Galapago St, Denver CO 80204.

What is in the basket?

We've partnered with the Truffle Cheese Shop,  La Belle French Bakery and Little's Fine Wines & Spirits to offer you an authentic French experience. You will find two cheeses from France (Loire Valley goat and a Bourgogne creamy sheep), a local French-style salami, a baguette, olives from Provence, a little bottle of Ricard or rosé, some nuts, crudités... Perfect for two!

Price: $45 (includes the cheese, salami, olives etc. This price does not include alcohol. The rosé or Ricard is complimentary!).
Order from now to June 17th. Pick up on Friday, June 19th from 9am to 6pm.
Baskets are optional: you can enjoy the FREE concerts without purchasing a basket! We just thought it would be a nice little extra :)

Sorry, you've missed the RSVP deadline for this event.

WHAT OUR MEMBERS ARE SAYING

I'd like to start this off by thanking you for teaching me so much French. You were a great teacher and you helped me learn so many new things. I'd also like to apologize for missing a lot of lessons, although I'm sure that I would've rather gone to them. Again, you are the best teacher I've ever had, and it's sad to say goodbye to you.

Alliance Française de Denver created a wonderful virtual environment where I spent my Summer vacation; visiting the winemaking area of Bouzy; celebrating Bastille Day; learning how to cook with flowers; touring historic châteaux and beautiful villages; all in the safety and comfort of my home.

A real treat for any Francophone person; especially having a daily place for French chat to try out and maintain colloquial skills.

Anne is fantastic! The material is fast paced for this "old dog" to learn new tricks, but we could not go slower. It has been very helpful to prepare me for my trip to France.

A great place to learn and practice French while getting acquainted with French culture and interesting people. I definitely recommend AFD and their events. Je parle français! Et vous?
