Beyond Borders Premier at The People's Building Aurora

Collaborative performance by Thomas Dance Project, Gregory Walker and the Altius String Quartet + Rich L’or Nachrist + David Hinojosa


Beyond Borders is a show that will represent the life of a group of people celebrating together, who soon realize that the society that they live in is no longer a place of peace and happiness. Due to this, they decide to leave their home land and cross the sea to find refuge in a greater place. Their struggles, hopes, and yearning for a better life will be portrayed throughout this performance. Beyond Borders not only represents this fictional story, but immigrants throughout the world attempting to cross borders. 


In addition to the Thomas Dance Project, this show will also feature live music by the Altius String Quartet, Rich L’or Nachrist and percussionist David Hinojosa. This live tableau of migrants making their way across Europe will be accompanied by the original compositions of Greg Walker. 

We are thankful to the University of Colorado "College of Arts & Media" and Afrosocial Colorado for supporting this project.

Doors 5:30pm, Performance 6:00pm, Q&A 7:00pm

Alliance Française de Denver created a wonderful virtual environment where I spent my Summer vacation; visiting the winemaking area of Bouzy; celebrating Bastille Day; learning how to cook with flowers; touring historic châteaux and beautiful villages; all in the safety and comfort of my home.

A real treat for any Francophone person; especially having a daily place for French chat to try out and maintain colloquial skills.
