Café Sciences: Nuclear Energy-Past, Present, Future

January 23 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Join us for Café Scientifique with presenter Guillaume L’Her.

This lecture will talk about the history of nuclear energy, its importance and shortcomings today, and its potential place in the future energy mix.

Nuclear energy is an often controversial energy source due its perceived risks, notably the waste and proliferation issues. In a changing energy generation landscape, with the advent of entirely renewable energy sources, does it still have a place in the energy mix?

Lecture will be in French, but slides in English.
