Meet Our Team
Rebecca, originally from Austin, has over 9 years of experience working in France in higher education while volunteering for nonprofits on the side. As a dual citizen of France and the United States, she has a passion for all things French. She enjoys connecting people as well as learning about other languages and cultures. When she's not working, Rebecca loves running, hosting dinner parties, discovering new films, learning Spanish, and volunteering.
Originally from Atlanta, Alex fell in love with Colorado while studying French at Colorado College. She returned to Atlanta to earn her master's degree in French and teaching. After 5 years in Atlanta, she returned to Denver to continue teaching high school, until she joined AF Denver. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, baking, and spending time with her family on walks around her neighborhood.
Beatric grew up in the beautiful region of France known as Brittany. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Business and Administration from Rennes University. Over the years, she has also lived in Connecticut, New Jersey and Florida, embracing the diverse landscapes and cultures of each location. Recently, Beatrice relocated to Denver after spending the last three years back in her beloved Brittany. When she's not at work, she cherishes quality time with her two daughters,, as well as their loyal Berneese Mountain Dog. Beatrice finds solace in nature and enjoys activities such as hiking, skiing, exploring the ocean, gardening, movies and immersing herself in the world of music and art.
Sonya is originally from Quebec, Canada, and has lived in the United States since 2002. In 2003, she completed her doctorate in geography from the University of Victoria (British Columbia). She worked as a professor at the University of Wisconsin for a few years, after which she focused her energy on raising her two children, now in 8th grade and college. After many moves, she settled in Denver with her family 11 years ago. To relax, she loves kickboxing, cycling, gardening, playing board games, watching K-Dramas, and doing art with her daughter
Linda was born in Denver, Colorado, and she took her very first French lesson at the Alliance Française de Denver many years ago. She continues to be enamored by the French language and culture. She has lived in London, Paris, and Morocco. Linda worked at Denver Botanic Gardens for fourteen years in visitor services and learned so much about the magic of plants. She is also a musician, potter, and gardener. She volunteers at the Temple Grandin Equine Center where she spends enriching time with horses and people. Linda adores raspberry macarons and walks in the gardens of Paris.
