A2 Conversation

Conversation
This course is designed to encourage Upper Beginner level students to converse. Different topics and authentic documents will be chosen by the instructor each week. Fun activities will be planned including role playing, presentations, discussions, games, etc. There will be a focus on pronunciation and grammar. No textbook needed for this class.

A2 Review

Foundation
This course is for people who have finished A2.3, or approximately 200 hours of French study. It is ideal for someone looking to brush up after a break from French or wanting support before moving to the next level. 

In A2 review, students will examine major topics of A2 language. This includes a lengthier discussion on passé composé and imparfait and appropriate tense shifting within a narrative. Students will also work on improving variety in their descriptive language using adverbs, prepositions, object and relative pronouns, and more.

Specialty Language Classes
In this class, students will learn and review grammar--typically verbs and tenses-- through popular music. Listening to music helps to improve listening comprehension and cultural knowledge, and is just plain fun!
