For students interested in developing French business language skills. This workshop focuses on business vocabulary and know-how based on specific business situations. We will explore how to introduce yourself in a professional setting, participate in French business meetings, practice formal writing, phone etiquette, and touch up on public speaking, negotiations and commercial communications. Each class includes oral and written practice. Students should have a minimum B1 level and above, This is a 6 week class.
Pace: 1.5 over 6 weeks

In this course, students will learn about the greats in Francophone poetry such as Jacques Prévert, Victor Hugo, Birago Diop, and more. Through poetry, students will learn about the culture and history of the French-speaking world, while learning about what makes a great French poem. The instructor Amadou Aw, a poet and rapper, will guide students through reading, understanding, and commenting on poetry from varying eras and backgrounds. Students may even find themselves writing their own poetry with the techniques and language they learn!

This course will be in French and requires at least a strong B1-level.

This course is designed to help students review grammar topics that will improve their overall fluency. Students should already have a grasp of major tenses and usages; this class will help students learn to use grammar to vary their language. B2+ Level.
