The Diplôme d’études en langue française (DELF) for adults, in its “general public” version, is an official diploma issued by the French Ministry of National Education. There are four diplomas corresponding to the first four levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1, and DELF B2.

For more information regarding the DELF B1, please visit the DELF tout public - niveau B1 | France Éducation international  website.

The exam will take place during the date indicated at the time of registration. However, the definitive schedule, including precise testing hours, will be communicated via email and confirmed approximately 15 days prior to the examination.

Exams are usually organized as follows:

  • Tuesday: B1
  • Wednesday: B2
  • Thursday: C1
  • Friday: C2

Candidates should generally plan to be available for one full day to complete all exam components. However, depending on examiner availability and the overall exam schedule, the oral exam may be scheduled on a different day, either before or after the written exams.

Candidates, especially those traveling from out of town, are therefore advised to plan for two days of availability and make travel arrangements accordingly.

Important: All candidates must bring a valid ID on the day of the exam. This is mandatory for identity verification. Candidates who do not present their passport or ID will not be permitted to take the exam.

Please note: We reserve the right to cancel exams or adjust the written and oral testing schedule due to circumstances beyond our control, such as examiner availability, weather-related conditions, or other unforeseen events.

Accessibility Information : The testing room is located on the second floor of the building, and there is no elevator available. If you are unable to use the stairs, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

Once your registration has been processed, the Passing Center Coordinator will contact you two weeks prior to your exam with a formal convocation and important documents for your review.

We are
unable to issue refunds within two weeks of the session’s start date. Refunds requested prior to this deadline may be granted; however, a $50 administrative fee will be deducted.
