Retail values are estimates provided to us by the donors. By purchasing a silent or live auction item, the buyer waives any claim for liability against wither the Alliance Française de Denver or the donor of the goods and services, and neither the Alliance Française de Denver nor the donor of goods and services is responsible for personal injury or damages to the property that may result from the utilization of the goods or services sold.

Live auction items are sold to the highest bidder identified by a professional auctioneer who sets bidding increments for each item. Please note all restrictions before bidding, as your bid constitutes an acknowledgement of these restrictions and all sales are final.
Joining together with others to bid on items that can be enjoyed by a group can be a logical and fun way to win an item. The individual bidding for the group, however, is solely responsible for the payment of the item at the close of the auction.
Payment may be made in cash, by credit card or by personal check made out to Alliance Française de Denver for all auction items at the close of the evening.
Refunds and exchanges will not be made on silent or live auction items. Bids cannot be withdrawn after the auction hammer falls. All sales are final.
To Claim Merchandise, you must complete the check-out process. You may wait until the close of the evening to retrieve your merchandise from our volunteers who will give you your items after payment is received. Please do not collect your own merchandise.
In compliance with IRS regulations, please note that the amount of the auction purchase price that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the amount of money paid above the fair market value of the auction item. Items designated as “Priceless” retain the value of the purchase price. We suggest that you contact your tax professional to determine the tax deductions (if any) for your specific purchase(s).
Thank you for supporting us, bid high and bid often as all proceeds benefit the Alliance Française de Denver.
WHAT OUR MEMBERS ARE SAYING
I'd like to start this off by thanking you for teaching me so much French. You were a great teacher and you helped me learn so many new
things. I'd also like to apologize for missing a lot of lessons, although I'm sure that I would've rather gone to them. Again, you are the
best teacher I've ever had, and it's sad to say goodbye to you.
Alliance Française de Denver created a wonderful virtual environment where I spent my Summer vacation; visiting the winemaking area of Bouzy; celebrating Bastille Day; learning how to cook with flowers; touring historic châteaux and beautiful villages; all in the safety and comfort of my home.
A real treat for any Francophone person; especially having a daily place for French chat to try out and maintain colloquial skills.
Anne is fantastic! The material is fast paced for this "old dog" to learn new tricks, but we could not go slower. It has been very
helpful to prepare me for my trip to France.
A great place to learn and practice French while getting acquainted with French culture and interesting people. I definitely recommend
AFD and their events. Je parle français! Et vous?
