AFD Grand Opening @ ISD
We are proud to officially announce our partnership with ISD. The Alliance Française de Denver would like to invite you to our Grand Opening event at ISD to celebrate together our move to this wonderful new location.

For this
inaugural event we have decided to commemorate the 100th anniversary of G Brassens’ birth. A free photo exhibition will present this iconic
French singer's life and his most famous songs will be performed live on stage by a local band : N Busquet (feat. M Isabell & C
Ringwood). DJ Titi de Nice will also be invited as a special guest to perform at this event. George Brassens (1921-1981) is
considered one of France's most accomplished poets, and one of its most iconic singer-songwriters.
This event is free of charge for all our members (discount is applied at check out when logged in) and we ask for a small
contribution of $10 for non-members who would like to participate. Entrance comes with two free drinks and there will be a variety of
French finger food available for sale during the event.
Masks will be required at all times (while indoors) unless actively eating or drinking, and we will ask for a proof of vaccination or a
negative rapid test (within 48 hours) to enter the event. We're modeling what seems to be a successful way some event forums are
handling concerts and gatherings.

Event schedule:
- 5.00 pm doors open,
- 6.00 pm Solo performance (guitar and voice): Nicolas Busquet sings G. Brassens ("Traditional Style")
- 7.00 pm Trio performance: N Busquet (vocals, guitar), M Isabell (guitar), C Ringwood (upright bass) play Brassens ("Gypsy Jazz style")
- 8.00 DJ Titi de Nice starts his set (and everybody jumps on the dance floor).
