Intermediate - ages 5-7
For Kids with Prior Exposure
This class is designed for children ages 5–7 who already have some exposure to French—whether through a school immersion program or a
French‑speaking parent at home. Through songs, crafts, stories, and interactive games, young heritage speakers will
strengthen their oral skills, build confidence, and take pride in their French abilities.
The class supports early literacy as well, so students should have a basic ability to read (in English or French) to fully
benefit from the activities.
A joyful and supportive environment helps children expand vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and feel more connected to the French language
and culture.

French for Toddlers – Play, Move, and Discover! (Ages 2.5–4)
In this joyful, hands‑on class, young children explore the French language alongside their parents or caregivers through songs,
movement, games, crafts, and colorful visuals.
Designed especially for curious toddlers, each session follows a comforting routine that helps little learners feel secure while absorbing
new sounds and vocabulary.
Every class begins with a traditional French welcome song that gets everyone singing together. Then, through the theme
of the day,
children discover new words by exploring colors, sounds, and simple objects. They learn by moving around the room, touching
pictures and posters, participating in playful activities, and completing easy craft projects designed for small hands.
This class emphasizes:
- Oral comprehension through songs, repetition, and storytelling
- Tactile learning through crafts, movement, and hands‑on activities
- Early verbal expression, encouraged gently and naturally—all in French
With its blend of structure, play, and interaction, this class offers toddlers a fun and immersive introduction to the French language while creating a meaningful bonding experience for families. Perfect for children ages 2.5 to 4 accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
