The TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français) for the general public is intended for anyone aged 16 or older whose mother tongue is not French and who wishes to have their level of French assessed for academic reasons (students, future students, trainees…), professional reasons (employees or future employees…), or personal reasons. For more information, go to https://www.france-education-international.fr/test/tcf-tout-public?langue=fr

The Oral Expression is complementary to the Mandatory Test.

 NOTE: To complete the FULL TCF TOUT PUBLIC, you will also have to register separately to the TCF TOUT PUBLIC MANDATORY TEST.

All test-takers must complete the form accessible through the link below. It will be used for your registration with France Education International, so ensure it matches your passport information if you are using the TCF for an official purpose.  Please note that incorrectly filling out either form can cause delays in processing your request, and your ability to take a desired test. Once received, the person  in charge of the exam center will contact one week before the exam to confirm the schedule, the location, and important information regarding the day's schedule.
