Apéritif in Provence

Date: 06 Dec 2023, 5:00pm - 7:00pm (GMT-07:00) Mountain Time (US & Canada)

The event:

An Apéritif in Provence

Join us for a trip to Provence from the comfort of l’Alliance Française de Denver. Cynthia will take us on a tour of her home region and share tips to incorporate the French art de vivre into our daily lives. We will end the evening with a fun Provence-themed trivia, a giveaway and an opportunity to shop unique French products.

About Cynthia:

Born and raised in a small village of Provence, Cynthia moved to Chicago in 2014 to live with her American love. After almost a decade in digital marketing, she decides to create Best French Forever, a curated gift and event company, as a way to stay connected to her roots and share her passion for Provence and its craftsmanship with fellow Francophiles. With this new venture, she found her purpose: inspiring women curate a life they love by inviting them to infuse a little bit of the Provençal art de vivre into their daily life.

About Best French Forever:

Best French Forever offers carefully curated gift sets and made-in-France items that celebrate l’art de vivre in Provence. Additionally, you can book Best French Forever to add a French touch to any private event in the Denver area: Cynthia loves to introduce participants to the region’s food, beverage, geography and fun facts. Perfect for a bridal shower, a birthday party or a company team building moment!

I'd like to start this off by thanking you for teaching me so much French. You were a great teacher and you helped me learn so many new things. I'd also like to apologize for missing a lot of lessons, although I'm sure that I would've rather gone to them. Again, you are the best teacher I've ever had, and it's sad to say goodbye to you.

Alliance Française de Denver created a wonderful virtual environment where I spent my Summer vacation; visiting the winemaking area of Bouzy; celebrating Bastille Day; learning how to cook with flowers; touring historic châteaux and beautiful villages; all in the safety and comfort of my home.

A real treat for any Francophone person; especially having a daily place for French chat to try out and maintain colloquial skills.

Anne is fantastic! The material is fast paced for this "old dog" to learn new tricks, but we could not go slower. It has been very helpful to prepare me for my trip to France.

A great place to learn and practice French while getting acquainted with French culture and interesting people. I definitely recommend AFD and their events. Je parle français! Et vous?
