Dzirae Gold

Rich, soaring vocals with lyrics that speak directly to one’s spirit!” - is how this operatically trained, genre-bending vocalist and songwriter is described.

Dzirae’s range is sure to blow you away. Prepare to be chilled, and entranced by her expressive highs, then immediately warmed and lulled by her rich and resonant lows. The multi-disciplined vocalist combines her technical operatic training with her love for jazz, blues, funk, and disco to create a sound as “smooth as liquid gold" in a genre all her own.

Dzirae’s inspiring efforts as an artist, storyteller, community builder, and innovator beautifully represents the profound, multifaceted culture and history of Black music. This is why she is so often recognized as "Denver's Golden Girl.

More about Dzirae

Nicolas Busquet Guitars & Vocals
Nicolas Busquet is a versatile singer-songwriter and performer based in Denver Colorado. Originally from France, Nicolas started performing solo in Paris, and has had multiple musical ventures in France and in the United States, performing original music in the indie/folk/americana style. Nicolas has since rediscovered his musical roots in French music. For “La Fête de la Musique”, Nicolas will perform solo arrangements of classic and modern French songs, from Georges Brassens and Jacques Brel to Thomas Fersen and Bénabar.
Hot Club of Olde Town  Gypsy jazz quartet
This festive formation is focused on the repertoire of the legendary Django Reinhardt (1910-1953), a towering figure in guitar and jazz history. Together with violinist Stephane Grapelli, Reinhardt created a singular musical genre at the intersection of traditional music from the Roma people and American swing music, that is commonly called Gypsy Jazz or Jazz Manouche. Performed with acoustic instruments, this swing music is upbeat and exhilarating. The quartet is composed of prominent musicians from the Denver jazz / gypsy jazz scene: Michael Isabel and Nicolas Busquet on guitars, Florin Alexandrescu on accordion, Gary Sloan on upright bass.
