Join us for an engaging Café Scientifique with Sandrine Ricote, Research Professor at Colorado School of Mines
FR: La présentation portera sur l'économie de l'hydrogène, en commençant par les différentes façons de produire de l'hydrogène, en poursuivant avec la définition et le principe des piles à combustible, puis finira avec divers exemples de véhicules électriques à pile à combustible.
EN: The presentation will focus on the hydrogen economy, starting with the different ways of producing hydrogen, continuing with the definition and principle of fuel cells and then switching to various examples of fuel cell electrical vehicles.

Sandrine Ricote
Research Professor at Colorado School of Mines
Sandrine Ricote a grandi en France, près de la frontière avec le Luxembourg. Après avoir obtenu son doctorat en chimie/physique à l'Université de Bourgogne, elle a travaillé à l'Université technique du Danemark pour 4 ans. En 2012, elle a obtenu un poste à la Colorado School of Mines où elle est maintenant professeur de recherche travaillant sur la production d'hydrogène et des sujets liés à l'énergie.
Sandrine Ricote grew up in France, near the border with Luxembourg. After getting her Ph.D. in physical chemistry at the University of Burgundy, she moved to the Danish Technical University for 4 years. In 2012, she got a position at Colorado School of Mines where she is now a research professor working on hydrogen production and energy-related topics.
