TCF exams evaluate French proficincy. The results are valid for 2 years. Unline the DELF/DALF exams, candidates receive a level based on their score.

AF Denver currcently offers 3 variations of the TCF. Please note, we are limited in how much we can advise you on which test you should take. If you are taking the exam with a particular goal in mind (immigration, studies, etc.), please consult with whomever is advising you in that process before registering for an exam.

While there are pre-set dates for the exam, it is possible to request a custom date for a $35 fee.

The TP exam includes up to 4 parts: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking.
AF Denver offers the full exam, or the version needed for university entrance, formerly called  DAP (which has all parts except speaking). The full exam takes 2 hours 47 minutes, the DAP version takes 2 hours 35 minutes

The IRN exam includes 4 parts: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking. The exam takes 1 hour and 15 minutes
