Visit the city of Mons, Belgium (live stream event)

Join us for a visit of Mons, Belgium, a city built in the 12th century.  

Mons is located in the South on Belgium, about 15 miles from the French border, and 50 miles South of Brussels.  Its Latin name was "MONTIS", this name was chosen because the city was built on a hill.  Mons hosts three UNESCO sites. In 2015, the city of Mons was declared the European Capital of Culture.

We will show you the beautiful City Hall, the Belfry and the Collegiate Church of Saint Waudru.  Find out about the mysterious monkey hanging from the City Hall, and how it brings luck to inhabitants of Mons.
